I got a very good deal on mushroom at lfs..
She gave me this 3 or 4 attached shrooms in crab shell..
those were only quarter size..but when i put those in to my tank..it became really bigger..yey!!!

Congrats! I've had the same luck when buying frags from LFS. Once i get'em home, they open nice.
IMO, thats the way to buy corals for smaller tanks (55g or less). I buy frags for $5-$8 from LFS. They will take time to reach maturity, but its fun to watch them grow and its also alot easier on the wallet.

my freind got some mushrooms that were not attached to anything, they were just laying on the ground in the coral tank and they sold them for a $1.99 each. when you go to the lfs just look at the floor of each tank that has corals in it and there will probably nice stuff like that laying around that they would be willing to sell you for cheep. thats what im gonna do after my tank finishes cycling.
