try soaking frozen brine in one of the liquid garlic supplements. if that does not work you could try no sick fish i have had success with both

me myself i do a fresh water drip. two minute is fresh water should kill the ich. If fish are still healthy go for it. ich be gone in 10 minutes.. If fish are weak you may have to try something else. If they ate today i go for it. I got a clown trigger had ich . two minute in fresh water. it was gone bye next day. My fish had eye fluke two in fresh water. gone. I have great luck with fresh water drips. Some don't like it.

If you go with the drip. I would also put marine- max in your tank. This is what i treated ich in a 90 gal with live rock. Marine-max is safe reef tanks. like i said some may not like this way. If fish are health and eating i go for it. good luck.

can you get fresh water from a fish tank and if so. The water need to have a PH reading close to yours. thats the first thing to do. than get a bowl with that water catch fish , than put in bowl for two minute and than put him back in your tank. do this with ever fish.

if fish are weak i would not do the dip. never did drip on weak fish. if they are weak put rock in bucket for a couple of week and treat with rid ick on tank the rid ick will hurt the live rock.

Please note that FW dips and bottled treatments will only remove the ich parasites from the fish . . . it will not kill the ich in the tank. Odds are nearly 100% that the ich will at some point return to the fish since the parasite will still be in the tank.
Garlic is presumed to boost a fish's immune system and allow it to resist ich, again it will not cure
(as in kill) ich.
Hyposalinty or copper treatments in a QT, while having the tank run fallow (fishless) will truly get rid of the parasite from the tank, and QT new specimens to determine if they have ich will keep it away.
Please refer to this thread for all you want to know about ich and how to deal with it . . .

Well put!! Also please note that FW dips can be very stressfull to the fish if you do not know what you are doing and, as stated, will only remove the parasites from the fish's body. Some fish are very sensitive to copper treatments. Hyposalinity is the preferred method. There are directions for that in the above link.
