got my new inline heater today!!

my trigger fish decided to break my 2 visi therm glass heater this week...for whatever reason. so i was researching some heaters and i liked the stealth heaters and heard they were great and also heard the inline hdor heaters where great and they are inline so you dont have an ugly heater inside the tank. anywyas..long story short i was bored today and hit a ocal in-town fish store called "choice pet supplies" they cater mostly to dogs and cats and only carry fresh water fish but have a few overpriced supplies. they had 2 hydor 300 watt inlines for 20 bucks a pop. i think they were either mis-marked or being clearanced for some reason. anyways i bought 1. its a 50 dollar heater for 20 bucks. they have 1 left if anybody is in the area and needs a heater. its located in monroe ct. this heater is great, holding temp within a degree and out of sight of the tank. it hooked right up to my sumps output tube. very cool. hope someone else can grab the other one at that price. i love a bargain!

so far the heaters great! only thing that sucked is the hookups they have to attatch the rubber tubing. i ended up snapping them off after 2 attempts (leaked both times) and just using regular stainless steel hose clamps and a little silicone. works like a charm and out of site.
