Got my protien skimmer

Just thought I would tell everyone, I finally got my protien skimmer. Its a Prizm. A little more noise than just the Emp. 280, but getting used to it. Took some time to figure out the air flo and all but its working great, collection lot's of yukky stuff in the canister. Way Cool. I mentioned before I wanted to add more corals, I currently have mushrooms and they are doing great. Tank size is 25gal, I have about 17 lbs LR and using crushed coral for subtrate. I have a clean up crew (purchased here) an atlantic anenome and a green long tenical anenome and for fishies, 1 skunk clown. I want to add more LR this weekend and pick up 1 coral, what do you think. Oh, I have a smart light also.

Sounds pretty awesome for a 25. I too have a 280 on my 37gal. and just got a Prizm but could not use it with my canopy. I am currently looking for a skimmer that will fit. I also am using CC. I actually had sand until I changed my setup a couple weeks ago. I just didn't like the look. If you have room for more rock, go for it. I would try to get cured rock so you don't have an ammonia spike.

I too had to do some recronstruction to my canopy, well my husdband did. But, all is well, a little crowded at the top but it works.
