I said i'd post once I had them up but i lost track of which thread it was, so I'm making a new one :)
I received my 2 x 16" photon LED's with standard layout on May 25th , I got them set up on the 26th and left on vacation for two weeks, just got back.
When I left I was having some cyano issues-gone
My new red cap I bought and had in QT was bleaching badly and starting to receed, I added that right before I left. beautiful white rim around the entire thing and much of the color has returned.
The custom time setup was pretty easy but time consuming. Ive had them set up to only max at 30% right now on both blue and white so everything can adjust to the new lighting slowly.
All my other corals seem to be doing just fine.
I love the moonlights and the shimmer
Only issue I'm having is a somewhat dimmed center, so I have to rehang the lights to fix that.
I tried taking pictures but the white balance is messed up, i'll have to play with it again.
These lights are pretty awesome for the price, pretty hard to beat.

Sweet. Thanks for the quick reviews. I ordered my photon 48 a week ago or so. I can't wait till I get them in.
So... you think it was the light that cured your cyano problem?... or was it a combination of that and not feeding like usual?
can't wait till you post some pics. let us know your camera settings so I have something to go off of when I start taking pics of mine. Thanks1

Congrats on the new lights. Great idea only going to max of 30%. These baby's are pretty powerful. They would fry your corals if you went to 100% right away. It took me 6 months to get to 100% with my photons.
I know the programming takes a bit to set. Did you do hourly or every half hour?? Would love to see your programming schedule if it doesn't take too much time to write up. I did a write up of mine on one of Snakes threads. I did it on excel and copied and pasted here.
