I figured out my yearly expenses for buying RO water from the lfs along with the gas that it takes me to drive to the store twice a week, and realized that a good RO unit would pay for itself in less than a year. So I ordered a Kent Marine Hi-S 35gpd RO unit. It came in via UPS the other day and I LOVE IT! I knew that it would be nice to save the hassle of lugging buckets to the lfs, and the money ($2.50 per 5 gallons) but it is even better than I imagined. My 55 evaporates 1 gallon per day and it is so nice just to grab a pitcher and walk 20 feet to top it off. If anyone is considering buying an RO unit, DO IT! I promise it is worth it.
