ok so I finally got my new lighting, now MHs arent an option for me so I had to go with T5 lights, I bought a 4 strip T5 light 2 blue 2 whites, and this is for a 55g...I would just like to know if this is sufficient for just some basic corals, Im not interested in the more advanced corals, but maybe some mushrooms, and some leathers....also does the acintic (sp?) blue lights do anything for the coral or is the blue just to bring out their color? I ask because I have a regualr flourescent strip, now if I change all my T5s to the white light, and put a blue on just my regualr flourescent, would that help at all, or do the corals actually need that T5 blue? Thanks for any responses

u can just put all daylight bulbs but its gonna be pretty ugly..all ur corals will look brown...wat type of t5 did u have..are they individually reflected..if so, u can actually have sps with no problems..as for bulb combonations...u might have to play around with that to get the right par vs color that u want..i have mh so i don't have any suggestions for you....good luck..
