GPH ? 1200 Overflow and Mag 18 Pump?

I have a 125 Gallon tank that I am setting up to be reef. I just built a 30 Gallon sump/Refugium. My overflow is rated at 1200 GPH, and I have 4ft. back up to the tank with about 2-3 Right angles in the plumbing, so would a Mag 18 Pump work for this set up? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What is the spec for the flow on the Mag 18? You can use the HeadLoss calculator on Reefcentral to determine your rough flow estimates.....You need to take into account your return line size as well....HTH
