how much gallons per hour should my water pump and power heads be? what is the equation you use? i have a 90 gallon.

What kind of tank do you want?
FO= 10x gallons or more
Reef=20x gallons or more
Many SPS corals=30xgallons or more
You want chaotic water flow so use multiple returns and power heads,

not to bogart your thread but I have a question on GPH calculations do you calculate total GPH or GPH per item example I have a wet/dry rated at 675 GPH (BTW 130g tank) and 3 powerheads at 360 gph so would my calculations be 675 + 360 +360 +360 = 1755 GPH or just all of them idividually?
