Just ordered one from ORA through my LFS. Can't wait to see what he's gonna look like! the surprisesuspense is killing me..
Can anyone here tell me the difference between the grade A and grade B's besides price? lol
I'll have pics as soon as I get him!

i was told grade A the middle bar touches the back bar and the front bar, but grade B's extend towards the other two bars but dont touch them, this is what i was told at my LFS yesterday when i reserved mine, so i would like to know if i was told right or not lol
But when you get them be sure to post lots of pics :D because i want to see, i love picassos

I'm only getting one because I am taking my larger clown back. My smaller one is nice as can be, but the larger one just won't pair up. She constantly attacks the lil guy and messes up his fins. It's never been too bad over the months, but the other day she bit his entire top fin and wouldn't' let go, and for the rest of the day the lil guy couldn't put it up. She's been getting very aggressive lately even though the little guy has submitted every time.
My LFS was ordering from ORA, and they're giving me credit for the big guy, so i figured I'd take the opportunity and put it towards a picasso. I'm just not interested in paying for a pair

Grade A's normally have two of the bars connecting on BOTH sides, while B's tend to have it only on one side, or not at all. There's also a lot inbetween, so the grading system I think is done best with pictures. Only thing that matters is if you like the pattern or not.

when are (s)he arrives? and when i get home i will post pictures of the offspring picassos i reserved xD going to the LFS after school since i have to interview the owner as part of my project (which is my excuse to have the tank hehe)

I guess the LFS has to make some money too. If they buy a clown for $120 and sell it at $130 its not worth the investment.. But this guy has good connections so I trust he'll get me a Grade A that is worth the money.

They are being sold for that much to hobbyists and it is the going rate, so you are not being overcharged compared to everyone else. Trust me though, your LFS is not paying $120 for them.

Maybe they are including the price of shipping?? unless they normally buy things from ORA.

Picked him up a couple hours ago! he's staying in a crappy spot so these are the best pics I could get of him.. But I love him!

i havnt got mine yet! the LFS has been closed all week
