Grapelike growth

I have a growth of grapelike things in my tank. At first it was isolated to one little area but know it is growing throughout the reef. They are purple in color and squishy to the touch.
Any ideas on what this is and how can I get rid of it?

It is bubble algae. I would do a phos sponge treatment and get out what you can. However, don't pop the balls as it will realease algae throughout the tank. After that get yourself an emerald crab, these guys love to dine on bubble algae. It is a common problem that when caught early is easily taken care of. Good luck

I didn't realise there was purple bubble algae. I have two emmie's but they won't touch the stuff. They do however, love to gobble on a small bunch of green bubble algae.
