gray stuff

Since I started removing the red algae by reducing my phosphates. I've noticed this gray algae looking stuff growing on my sand. Any ideas what this is and how to get rid of it? If you need more info on water conditions and what i'm doing to reduce phosphates to see if there is a problem with any of it I posted a memo yesterday under flowerpot.

it could be the start of black slime..... a real pain in the *** try to get as much out as you can.... without it breaking up so it don't spread...
