This one is my personal favorite

Isn't it comforting to know that when you are about to become a bear's breakfast your buddy is standing there taking photos?

As a wilderness type of guy, this makes me ponder the question.....if he did catch up to you, what if you just jump on his back and bear hug him around the neck for dear life. It's not like he can reach back there and claw or bite you. Yes, he could roll over and probably kill you with his weight.....IDK...just a brain fart that passed thru my head.
Very good pics though...

The question isnt weather you could grab hold of him ,the real question is, then what lol.Would you just become a permanent part of the polar bear.lmao

good point, that I had wondered...You would either have to have a Rambo knife to kill it, or just be prepared for the ride of a lifetime....

there was a massive killer kodiak bear a few years back, that killed at least 3 campers.
when they finally took it down with a hunting rifle, the body was peppered with lots of slugs from 9mm, .40 cal and .45 ! there is a bunch of really gruesome shots of the bear, and the victims floating around on the web. Polar bears are even LARGER than kodiaks, just not as aggressive. well, until now, there have been a few increasing reports and even physical and photographic evidence that Polar bears and Kodiaks are interbreeding, and now there are hybrid super bears running around.
