I just got back from my LFS that I go to alteast once a week. It was very busy as usual, and I just decided to browse, and give the guy a chance to get all the customers out of there. Everyone was bugging him, asking for this and that. Anyway When everyone was about gone 30 min. later he finally asked me what I needed. I told him that I just recently put in a Fuge for my FOWLR, and that I needed some Razor Caulerpa, and LR rubble. He said great, let me get you started. He said I will give you a baggie of Razor caulerpa for free, to get you started. I then asked him if he had any little pieces of LR, and we went in the back to check the LR tank. I picked a little piece out it is $9 lb. Premium cured Fiji LR. It was a flat piece. He said that looks like a good flat piece to make a bridge. He pulled out two more softball sized pieces, and said Get these and I will give you a deal. I said I don't know, knowing it was about 6-8 LBS ($50) He said come on, since you waited for 30 min. while I was busy without bugging me like everyone else I will give you a deal. H e said let's go weigh it, and if you don't like the deal I will bring them back. I said ok. We weighed them, and they came out to $48. He said it is $48, I will give you the rock and Caulerpa for $5!!!!! I said sounds good to me. I never pay what they are asking, but this is the best deal I have got from him. It probably helps that I spend about $100 a week there.
