One of my favorite SciFi series was Firefly. The movie for the series was Serenity. If you have never seen it, you can get the DVD set really cheap. Great series! One of the biggest crimes FOX ever created was ruining it and ultimately cancelling.

Dog Soldiers - One of the best low budget werewolf movies ever!
Donnie Darko - Weird time travel paradox movie. Came out right after 9/11 and had a jet engine falling through a house so was'nt out too long. Have to watch it a few times before you get it.

That TV show was awesome!

Don't forget the original "Night of the living dead". That movie was filmed for peanuts and has made millions.
I think that qualifies it as Cult.
