Green Algae

I have a problem with the build up green algae on my glass daily. My water readings are fairly good. Phosphates are O. Nitrates are below 20. Nitrites are 0. Ammonia .25 . I run my lights 10hr per day.
What can it be?
Thanks,
Fish :D

Has this tank Cycled??? You should not have ANY Ammo Readings.
Other than that check Silicates.

It has been around 5 + weeks. The lights are 2 96W Compacts. 1 Blue 1 White. This is over a 58 Oceanic Reef Ready Aquarium.

I don't think your tank has compleated it's cycle. Wait a while longer and you ammon will go away. Your lights sound fine if they are as new as the tank. When lights go bad you will get an algea bloom.

Nitrates of >0 will help grow algae and ammonia of >0 are not indicators of Good water. Since you have ammonia and no nitrites you prolly have too much livestock. What is in the tank?
