I finally got the live rock up to about 180lb last week and have about 4 corals and five fish and two star fish- 50 snails to get it started. Running Actinic 50/50 72 in 160 watt bulbs (2ea) and Actinic 03 160 watt bulbs (2ea) in tank. Have1200gal per min to sump and 4 other pumps in tank to circulate (behind rock ect). Running lights about 12hr a day.
ph 8.1 - 8.2
ammonia 0ppm
nitrite 0 ppm
phosphate 0 ppm

Using Kent tech CB part A and B every morning (3 caps each--as directed)

Hey,
Sounds like you may be overfeading your fish. Your clean-up crew is very small so there is probably a lot of extra protien in your tank. That, along with good light will give you algae blooms. If your perameters weren't so good I would suspect your tank was cycling again.
I would suggest cutting down on your feeding and getting about 50 hermit crabs to go with your snails. You could also reduce your photoperiod but I don't know what kind of corals you have and wouldn't want to hurt them. HTH
Take care,
Dan'l :D

If your tank is new, this is a normal phase that your tank needs to go thru.
You night cut back on lighting and do frequent water changes to combat it, but it should clear up in a couple weeks. Improving your cleanup crew will help as well.
