Green Algae?

OK, another question (I swear I would be lost without this site). I have some greenish blue algae (almost neon) on my LR. I first noticed it about 3 days ago, and now it has spread significantly. I can't take a picture of it (camera won't focus in that tight). It is a 30 gal with 40 lbs sand and 45 lbs rock, 8 hermits and turbos. My params are pH 8.4, trites and amm 0, trates 5, sal 1.023. I just started getting some coraline and diatom growth, I'm not sure if its related to that or not.
Anyone have any ideas? Are there any links to any pictures of algae that I can compare it to?

i have a bit of green algae starting to grow in my tank too-- i have a lot of red/orange algae, but a little bit of green is starting to grow now too-- should I take any measures?

From what I have seen, it looks like the main problem is how long your lights are on. I was running mine for 12 hours. I knocked it down to 8 hours. I'll let you know.
