green algae?

I have about 15 lbs of LR and the tank is about 2 months old. I also have some bleached white coral (non living of coarse) which is getting this lite neon greenish algae on it. Is this serious? Should I just take it all out and clean it?

At 2 months it would be normal to see some algea growth.
Do you have any kind of clean up crew? What size tank?
If you're starting to see algea then it's time to add a few snails and/or hermits.

Yeah I have a few hermits and a snail that hitched a ride w/ my LR. It's a 29 gallon. Even green algae? It only seems to appear on the dead bleached coral...Thanx in advance!

I have a few pieces of dead deco coral in my tank also. Dont clean it. It will go through algy and color cycles and in a year or so it will ultimately become live rock.
