Green Algae?

I have this weird almost flourescent green slime growing on my decorative coral and overflow boxes. Also some on the sand. Does anyone know what this is? Is it bad? How do I treat it?

Is it slimy? If so it is a form of cyanobacteria I believe. It is cause by lighting changes, high phosphates and/or silicates, or bad water movement in the area it is growing. Fix these problems and manually remove as much as poosible if that is what you have.
