Green Brittle Star/Invert Question

So I recently picked up a green brittle star for almost nothing. My question is will it harm any other inverts? As in snails, crabs, shrimp, etc. Thanks
Also has anyone succesfully kept a chocolate star in a reef?

Not normally. They are scavengers and their focus is on the crumbs left over in the tank. Now if you were to starve your tank, I suppose it's possible, in an effort to stay alive. I have two stars and they rarely come out of the rock work, except in the middle of the night.

I did a little research and it says monitor with inverts/corals. Just wanted some advice from people with first hand expierence :)

I have one, it probably won't bother your inverts but they are known to hunt and eat small fish. I haven't had any issues with mine though just be careful and if you have fish come up missing the GBS might be a possible reason.

The green brittlestar is a known predator in the while and certainly a threat to small fish and shrimp. Not all individuals will do this, but yes, it is a definitely risk. I have 3 large one's and no real issue, but I feed heavily and would be ok if it ate a fish or shrimp overall. The risk may not be high, but it is there.
A chocolate chip star is predatory on corals, anemones, clams, snails, etc and over time will absolutely eat something.
