Is it possible that my brittle ate my red scotter blenney? I cought him trying to eat my emerald crab. I'm also missing a Porceln crab. Are these stars that aggressive?

brittle stars are very intelligent and when not fed they can go after your livestock depending on their size. Ive seen brittle star make a loop with a tenticle and "fish" for your fish to eat them. IMO they should be spot fed.

I've never had trouble with my brittle star but it's a brown one. I have heard that greens are much more likely to eat fish.

I have trouble spot feeding mine because the darn shrimp always runs up and steals his food.

Often they are wrongly accused of killing things when other issues are involved.
Spot feeding will not necessarily prevent predation, but it is also a jump to assume it was predation. It is easier for us to believe everything was perfectly healthy and killed, rather than it might have been unhealthy. So always consider alternatives.
Scooter blennies, for example, can be tough to keep in some tanks.
Regardless, this star is a KNOWN PREDATOR in the wild, and as it does not know it has lost the biological game of growing large and reproducing, I would expect it to take advantage of any opportunity it encounters. They are highly adaptable...but frequently wrongly accused as well. So if you are suspicious, I would consider trading it in.
How often and what do you feed it, BTW?
