One of my clowns was doing great, eating and swimming on Tuesday night. The next morning I could not find him and as of today still MIA. Is there a chance the star could have caught him and ate him? The LFS said the GBS was safe, but after reading post on here I am not sure

The green brittlestar is a known predator. There is no doubt that they will eat dead, weak or stressed animals, which is what they are put in a tank to do. Question is can you prove that it was the brittle star? or was the fish sick at all. Do you ever feed the brittle star? or is there enough for it to eat?.
Your LFS gave you wrongful advice on the green brittle star.
