Green Bubble Algae, Please Help!

I have a 35 gal tank with live rock. No fish just a some different types of snails and some hermit crabs. Algae control is awesome but I am starting to develop a problem with the daggon green bubble algae. Does anyone know of any critters that might make a meal out of those things? A fish or crab or special snail. The snails and hermits I have just eat around them or clean them off occasionally bursting one and causing it to reproduce. Any info would be appreciated.

Had similar problem. I am pretty new but the advise I got was to get rid of it. So we we removed rock and re-built reef. (Maybe extreme) But got lots of feedback to get emerald crabs, which are great on bubble algae and peaceful to others. Been looking for these crabs and asking for them at LFS and can't find them. May do my first mail order over site places. Good luck. :)

Emerald Crabs are the best for bubble algae, I have five in my tank and they never bother anything else. I agree finding them is difficult, but I have had great luck with one place online (they all made it, were in great shape and a good size), email me dpitzer@merpoint.com and I will send you the link.
