55 gallon reef tank with 2 precula clowns, and two feather dusters. On one of my live rocks under the prizm , I have developed some green bubbles. There getting larger by the week. Hope the lockness dont hatch from them, lol. Just wonder what it was and is it a good thing?

This stuff is valonia. Very bad stuff. I got it in my tank years ago, and cannot get rid of it. Emerald crabs and Desjardini tangs will eat it, but are more fond of other stuff.
Fish Safari is in VA Beach, and is a very god LFS. A little expesive, but the owner is great and the staff pretty good. Animal quality is superb.
VA Beach also have Animal Jungle, which used to be good, but now is too large and has a minimum wage staff.
Southern Pets in Wards corner Norfolk is very good. They have been in business for every. The owner there taught me a lot.
There are a few others, but I do not remember their names. One @ Hilltop (Discount Pets??) is pretty good, and the prices are reasonable.

I agree with quazi 100% on the Fish stores in this area. I haven't made it out to Southern Pets yet. I've heard good things from other people as well. 90% of my stuff comes from Fish Safari. They have the best selection of corals that I've seen, and everyone that works there is super helpful. I can't think of any others, and yes I'm pretty sure the one in the Hilltop area is called Discount Pets. Not a large selection, but pretty reasonable prices.

I had some bubble algae also. I waited till it got to about the size of a pea so it would be easy to grab, and then just pulled it off the rock. I have 3 emerald crabs and a Tang, they did not touch them.

I think you emailed me as to fish stores, Fish World in Chesterfield is the single largest importer of corals and fish in about 1000 mile radius, he get in between 30-60 thousand in livestock a week!! Email or call me for details if you are interested, Joe is great to deal with and very knowledgable.
