Green Bubbles?

I have small clusters of hard green bubbles growing on my LR. They get larger and some eventually burst. Any idea what they are? Good or bad? I tested my water for the basics...everything is in check... Thanks in advance:)

this is nothing too crucial. Its mostly air bubbles, or have i heard . I have heard of a situation simmilar and somehow airbubbles is getting under the plant growth.

Thanks for the replys! I did a search - it's definately bubble algae! I'll get an emerald crab - they feed on it, right? I also read that if you pop one of the bubbles it will spread spores. I don't mind the looks of it so should I pop one and let it spread for the emerald to graze on? Or will this naturally happen? I don't mind it but I also don't want it to take over my tank!

If you can, Remove the rock w/ it on and break it out of the display.
Some emeralds will eat it and some won't. Mine won't!
There are other methods if this is not doable.
Address the problem now before it get's out of hand!

Bubble algae is bad, bad, bad. It can and will overrun your tank. DO NOT encourage it's growth. Do everything you can to get rid of it. Remove larger size bibbles carefully with your fingers. Emerald crabs are great.

yeah, my LFS has them in their tanks too. I break his stones all the time, but he just seems to let em go.
Doesn't make them good just 'cause the LFS has them. I don't think you'll get an argument on this.
Exterminate them!!!!

Do a search on bubble algae. I have read several different methods of getting rid of them. I know foxface rabbitfish eat em and some emeralds do also, but manually removing them is probably your best bet!

they are not only a pain and can overrun things, but are strong enough to topple rock work. so, I would get rid of them too.
emeralds may and normally do help. Also, you can pluck them pretty easily. bc tehy are pretty strong.

LMAO!
I relly hope that you don't listen to that clown anymore. you can look at them and tell they are not air bubbles!
I do realize you have stated the lfs told you, so I am laughing at him not you. But please, don't pay much attention to him again. You never know what else he may try to help you with.
