green carpet anemone

Hi everyone. I was just wondering is 69.99 a good price for a green carpet anemone? My lfs has one for that price, it looks healthy, and in medium sized. What do these anemone like to eat? I was hoping my false percula clowns would host it. What type of lighting is needed? I have a 25 gallon aquarium.

That sounds lie a good price.They like to eat krill,shrimp,clam meat,squidd.They get REALLY big fast.In 18 months mine out grew my 210.He was about 18-24 inches fully open. IMO,I woundnt put him in your tank ,its too small.They need MH to survive. :happyfish

oh oh ok thank you. I was having second thoughts about the carpet anyways. Haha I was scared of that sting I was reading about them, it said they were one of the only ones that could caouse damage to a human. What kind of anemones would you suggest I could get?

right now my lfs has 3 different types of anemones. They are: green bubble anemone 39.99, and a rose bubble anemone 69.99. Do you think I would be able to get one of these?

Yes they are more suited for a smaller tank.What kind of lighting do you have??

Right now my lighting isnt even close to what I need, bt I was going to my lfs tomorrow to get some better lighting. What would you suggest is the best type for a bubble anemone? My hood that is on the tank is only 22 inches long. What do you think?
