are green chromis a good choice for a reef aquarium, I want to have yellow tang, hipo tang, false percs., lawn mower blenny, six line wrasse, and a fairy wrasse. I will also have some cleaner shrimp and crabs. What do you all think would green chromis be a good fish for a 75? Oh and just so every one knows, I am trying to debate between the yellow tang and hippo. Just so the you know who's dont get after me. Dustin

Well, the you know who's will probably get after you for either tang choice. I will leave that moral decision up to you. (Personally, I wouldnt even think about putting the hippo in there. Maybe a Kole tang)
Your question is about green chromis and I can answer that one.
Yes, green chromis will do very well in a reef tank. If you were to have around 5 of them they should school together nicely. One thing I have read about but really havent noticed in my tank is their food intake. Some say you need to feed them often to keep them from being a little agressive with each other. I only feed mine once a day and they hardly ever pick at each other. And even when they do it is mostly just a race to get to something they think is food.
These are awesome fish IMO. They turn a nice a blue color when they hit the light just right. When the lights are on they are all usually swimming together. The instant the lights go out they each go to their own separate hiding place.
