Green cloud to white cloud

I have a 90 gal fish only setup. my water was a cloudy green color. i finaly purchased a RO/DI kit and so far i have changed 25 gal in the past two nights. i also inserted a carbon filter. when i woke up this morning the tank was no longer green, it now has a white cloud. Am i mving in the right direction and should i continue to do the water changes? :help:

could the cloud be sand thats being stirred up by a PH?

I don't think so. there is no sand blowing up. My nitrates have not gone down, could this be the problem? They are coming up at .25. :thinking:

is it tiny airbubbles? like from a skimmer or a powerhead? is your water change water highly oxygenated? when i do a big water change the water always gets a little cloudy from the bubbles getting into the sump pump.

my skimmer is turned off right now because my nitrates are still at .25. once thwy go down i will turn it back on again.
