Green hair algae

it hitched on some LR i got from a friends 5yr tank and i scrubbed it off, now its spreading. how do i get rid of it?

I had the same thing you can use different kinds of snails, long spine sea urchin. And I am not sure but you may be able to use a lawnmower blenny

. and the urchin may eat your rock if he eats all the hair algea

Pull off the long parts. Mexican turbos work well.

I was just about to check your profile to see what size tank you had. I was going to say....GET A TANG. You won't see that stuff ever again.
