 I have a 120 gal. tank, about 18 months old. The green hair alge started about 3months ago, covering my live rock. I have crabs, and snails, and alge eating fish, and the readings are a little above normal, but good. Maybe the lghts are to old? 2MH 175W LAMPS / 2-65W PC.

It probably has nothing to do with how old the light is. Instead of age it's probably duration. If you have your lights on a timer, subtract an hour or two from how long you keep the lights on. If you turn your lights on manually, leave them off more than you do now. If this still does not work, buy about 10 emerald crabs and introduce them to your tank. After the algae is gone, take them back to the pet store.

If you still have the same MH lights from when the tank started up 18 months ago it probably is your lights! They shift temp ( kelvin Deg ) as they age which promotes algae growth. How old are the exactly???
You say your readings are good, what does that mean. Please post your numbers.
Instead of adding oodles of critters to combat the problem, let's find the cause of it. :)

I agree R/O is a must, and if you want to solve it for good make yourself a refugium it works, my phosphates are at 0.1 and im heavly stocked and I never had hair algea. My tank up stairs not setup with a refugium will get it off and on.there are some designs already posted for refugium construction.
