green hairy mushroom

do these move around like anemones do? we had 2 hitch-hike in on a piece of live rock and one went missing. i thought it died but i found it in a crevice between 2 other pieces of rock and it appears to be fine and latched on down there. should i try and retrieve it and move it to better flow/light or is it doing what it wants to do?

I don't think they move around like that, but they will move themselves if lighting or flow is not to their liking. But once they find a place they like, they usually stay in one spot.
