 Green Mandarines ? ??? I have had mine for 2 months ~ they appear to be breeding ~ anyone know anything ? I also have NEVER seen a POD in my tank. I hear they look like little fleas running around. I do not see any in my tank and my 2 mandarines are looking great. They are growing and healthy and FAT. My tank is only 4 months young as well. I do have live rock . I have seen my Mandarines eating oysters and clams as well as whatever I feed them. ( : Anyone with any info on them would be greatly appreciated. THANKS...................:)

Wow, 2 of them in a 30 gallon is going to be tough to maintain after awhile. Put a flashlight up to your tank at lights out and you will see them better. Do a search on pods and I think someone even posted a tip on getting more pods in a tank.
I am always wanting to know everytihing I can for our little guy, we just love watching him. Someone today just posted the loss of their scooter. :( So, read all you can on them, since you have 2 you will need double what ever they say.

I have put a light up to the tank at lights out. I have also used a magnifying glass and I see nothing ~ EVER. The 2 of them are doing the breeding dance every eve. The strangest thing is that the other fish pair up and swim with them !!! What a sight to see. There are many other tank mates in with them . :) They all appear happy and healthy. I did have a 110 gallon saltwater tank years ago and I do recall seeing PODS. But , I do not see any in here. My Manderines seem to eat alot of different things and I'm telling you they look great in every way.My first saltwater tank was in 1975 ! Things sure have changed since then. Thanks for your reply.;)
