I got this green moray the other day and my girlfriend will not stop pestering me to get rid of it because she doenst want to see the stingray die. I would be willing to meet someone within reasonable distance. I would drive up two a couple hours maybe a lil bit farther as long as he has a tank big enough for him. It took me 60 in gas to pick him up and i would let him go for that. Just want to see him get a good home. AW2 talked a big game but doesnt respond to any emails, so im offering it to anyone that has a large tank that wants a green moray. He is about 3 ft long and thick. here are some pics.

I think it was you that talked a big game and got yourself in way over your head. You just had to have it , you had improper housing for this animal and not very good knowlage of its needs .Now your trying to get rid of it and pass blame on your girlfriend . And on top of that insult AW2 for not jumping to solve your problem is just rediculous.

actually when i picked it up it didnt look that big in the bucket. second off where are you coming from, i wasnt saying anything bad about you. If aw2 wants to say something about it he can. And as far as my girlfriend not wanting it you can call her and talk to her if you like, trust me i could care less about the stingray. I knew there was chance of him eating him, she didnt know anything about him. Then i had her read the page where me and aw2 were talking about him and she saw that he said that he would eat everything in my tank and got all nervous. so you should shut your mouth about stuff you know nothing about, she sent aw2 2 emails and he wont get back to her so IMO he is all talk. Probably just like you wanting the stingray. push comes to shove you probably dont want him either. this forum needs to grow up. This stuff doesnt go on in the other forums that im in. i will not be coming back to this section because you guy are way to inmature.

Well the fact that you could care less about the ray is just proof of your dedication to these animals . As far as immaturity goes just being after the biggest badest animal you can stuff in a cage is immature . then to lash out at others because of your own mistakes is immature .

i also agree aw2 was going to give it a great home. And will still if you give him time to answer you. I think he would be more then willing to take it. Just wait and give it time.

i would love to give it to him. I just want to see the eel get a good home. As for mine right now he is ok but he needs more room. I have someone that might take it. Im just waiting to see when and if he really wants him. I have to drive 2 hours to deliver it but thats the least i can do so this beatiful animal gets a good home. I just wish people werent so rude on this forum. I didnt start anything with either of the 2 people but they seem to want to bash me. yes i did want the eel and no i wouldnt have go him if i knew he was as big as he was, he looked small in the bucket. I figured i had time for him to grow in the 125, but i dont. well if anyone is interested in him just let me know, i will ship him if you pay all shipping charges

Man, i want that eel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a beauty!

AW2 doesn't need anymore eels in his tank. His tank is sooo crowded with them, he has them in like a 4ft long tank :scared:

and you have a six foot tank with a HOB filtration system.
that would keep up with a green moray. :thinking:

And as far as reeftank27 : I REALLY HOPE THIS MONSTER DOES not BITE YOU BEFORE YOU GET RID OF IT
although that would be all to deserving for you.

I actually havent responded to your emails because I have had guests at my house, this weekend and havent been on the computer. I dont think it's quite fair that you're still taking "jabs" at me when I told you this wasnt going to work out from the beginning. To answer your question...No, I wont take it. I was extremely helpful AND courteous when your girlfriend and you emailed me and after seeing the remarks that you continue to make about me...this is your problem...you fix it.

When you start keeping tanks and species of fish that are ANYWHERE near the caliber of my specimens, then you can start giving me advice about my tanks. When you actually do some research and know what you're talking about, when it comes to ANYTHING related, in this hobby, then you can come talk to me. Otherwise, keep your comments to yourself.
