my green open brain has turned white. is it dead dying or doing something weird? can't find anyone who knows.

Try posting your quetion in the coral forum at "direct links to other BB's are not allowed" Eric Borneman is the moderator of that forum. His new book is awesome, called Aquarium Corals. He is an authority on corals.

First to adress the brain coral we'd need additional info....specifics on water tests(ammonia/nitrite/nitrate/calcium/alkalinity/ph)...also info on your system in general...how long has it been set-up? Type of filtration?Type and amount of lighting? Live rock and how much...any additives used...do you or have you fed your brain coral...the more info you provide the better folks will be able to help.
Also I'm moving this thread over to the reef forum where folks may be better suited to respond.

Last....we should all be aware that direct links to competing BB's are not allowed...we do have the ability to post links that are informative in nature and that provide resources not found via our host...there was a time when NO links were allowed and I'd hate to see that policy return...so please refrain from direct links to BB's.....
