Green Rock

My tank has been running for about 3 months, and in the last couple of weeks my LR has started turng green. The green(Algae?) isn't slimy and doesnt scrub off with a tooth brush. I do 10% water changes weekly with tap water, use a Skilter Pro 250 filter/skimmer and have the standard light fixture with a corallife daymax bulb( on for 10hrs/day). All the water parameters are were they should be. Should i start using r/o water for my 10% changes? I have also noticed that my filter is needing to be changed ever 2 weeks lately. My tank inhabitants are 2 percs, a damsel , coral beauty, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 pep. shrimp, emerald crab, and 5 snails-they all seem very happy. What sould i do ?

is it hard.. and encrusting like... corlaine does come in green ...hmm
it doesn't seem to be coraline....more like an algae of some type. It started about 2 weeks ago and then seemed like it was going away. Then almost overnight it was covering almost all my LR. It isn't affecting my red lava rock....yet. And if i scrub it hard enough and long enough it does seem to fade some. It seems to be slowing my coraline growth, and covering some of it as well. I'm clueless .
