Green Star Polyp Question

I bought today a small frag of GSP. When I put it on the sand bed it opened up but I read that someone put their's in higher flow and they opened up more? How high should the GSP be from the light and what type of flow does it like? Answers ASAP would be very appreciated.

they like good flow, but dont have the ph blowing right on them. As for light they like a good amount of light, but if you have good lighting and depending on the tank size it will be ok on the sandbed.

I have had them take 1-3 weeks to fully open in my tanks.

they will do fine with medium to slightly high lighting. it really depends on what lighting u hv.

They will do well in medium to high flow areas, mine actually gets blasted by the output of my k3 and does great the polyps are a little longer than most (about 1" long) though. They will tolerate medium to high light and from my experience they will have brighter coloration under more intense lighting.
