green star Polyp

I got a green star polyp on Sat. it opened up that afternoon but nothing sence I had it up high in the tank but I moved it down midway the tank. Guess I'll have to wait to see what happens any input. Thanks

First question is what type of light do you have? Me and my budy each bought a frag of star polyp aboout a week ago. Mine opened up the next day, but his took about 3 days. Just be patient.

I have PC lighting and I had a frag shipped to me. It took them about 4 days to open up fully. Just be patient like scubachris said and they will open when they are ready. Hope that helps

well light is not your problem. Just be patient. All good things come in time.

yes, gps will close up at time for days. eventually, it will open up. make sure u blow off excess detritus off its mat every week. they do grow and spread fast once acclimated. mine hv killed many zoas and sps by growing over them.
