Green Star Polyps

I bought a fairly large rock covered in this stuff yesturday, how long does it take for the polyps to come out??? Is there anything i can do to help them along?
Had it in low flow over night and none came out, just moved it to high flow and still nothing.

give them some time maybe a few days they should do just fine!
they like high light and medium to high flow
mine grows like weeds in my tank i should get rid of it cuz they can grow to sting your other corals too

Mine took about a week to open, thought they were dead, but they finally opened up. Yes, they do grow like weeds. After about 2 weeks I took the razor to mine and cut it up into about 20 huge frags. Everyplace that I cut a frag off now has about 1/4inch of new growth where it's encrusting the original LR that it came on.
