does anyone know of a way to keep green stars from speading ???

Take the rock, put in a temperature controlled bag of water with air and send them to me.

doodle1800...... good one ..... i would of done it for ya but i traded all the stars i had to the lfs. for lr. i don't know who made out in that deal as fast as it was growing in my tank i should of sold it outright.
