Green things.....

K I have foung some green thing in my tank....they are about1/4 inch in length and cylindrical...they are bright grren and at the base they are sorta grey. I thought that they were feather dusters and I woke up to find green things coming out.
I dont have a pic. because I dont have a cam. I know I didnt give much info but can anyone take a stab at it?

no not a polyp I have polyps...these things are singular theres two of them....they sorta look like green worms that are vertical.
