Hello, Everyone my water is green. All of my perameters are normal except the calcium is at 360 could that cause green water. Phosphates are normal also. I will do a water change tommorrow and I am using phosphate and charcoal filters. I also noticed some white spots on the glass as well.

white spots are small snails that filter feed or pods (look like a spiral? those are snails) look in the hitch hiker forum for pics
the green water is probubly an algae bloom, keep up on wc's and run your charcoal
the reason your parameters are normal is because the algae is eating all the stuff you're testing for
how old is your tank? has it cycled? what is your live stock?

nevermind, just read your profile, these blooms are normal
just follow above advice and give a stock list
also how much / often do you feed?
360 is fine on cal dont go dosing until your tank is established and you make sure your alk and ph levels are ok
during your cycle these numbers will flucuate

Its your carbon, you need to change the materia!
I had the same problem and with it came a nice bubble, hair, ect. algae bloom! Lucky I didnt have corals so I just turned off my lights for about 5 days changed the carbon, tested for phosphates then added phosphate removers. Bought a GEC and a couple more snails, and now no algae or green water!
