green water

The water in my tank keeps tunning green, I did a complete water change and added live sand the last time it turned green and now 10 days later it is green again. I'm wondering if the tank is getting too much sunlight since it is in front of six large windows, or maybe it is a filtration problem.

Most defintly the sun light.

Is there anyway to stop it, or buy something that can eat algea. The tank is on my desk at work and the is no way to get it out of the light.

I don't know, I made the same mistake a long time ago, but was able to move the tank. Maybe put a background on it, the side facing the window, but again, I am not sure about curing this problem with out moving it. Maybe some of the sharks can help.........Sorry...

if you are going to keep in all that sunlight .iwould us a uv sterilizer. this will fix it
