Green Wolf Eel

I know that green wolf eel aren't actually eels at all, rather members of the pseudochromis family. My questions are, do they jump out of tanks like eels do and what experiences do others have with them?

Yes the will. I had a friend that had one. We came home from work and it had managed to somehow get out of his glass covered tank. The thing was on the floor for who knows how long. It looked dead to me. The amazing thing is he just plopped it back in the tank and within the hour it was fine again. Amazing, he said it happenned before and he almost threw the eel away. He placed him in the tank so he could go get a garbage bag to bury him in and he said the next thing he new the eel was fine again. AMAZING!

That's OK. My wife vetoed the eel idea. I tried to tell her that it was really just a long fish, but she wasn't buying it. Anyway, we just found out that she is expecting and her hormones are going berzerk and I don't want to pi#- her off to the point that I become fish food myself, so I'll get her a tang like she wants

Good luyck with the "expecting situation". I know what you mean though about the woman being moody and wanting a specific fish. Mine wants a moorish Idol....I keep saying no.............

Aren't those the 11th and 12th commandments:D
Anyhow, we talked this afternoon and we're down to a banana wrasse or a foxface lo. I kinda like the idea of everyone in the tank being venomous. Brilliant way of thinking for someone who now has to baby-proof the house!!!!:jumping:

if you can find the magnificant foxface also hes a bit more pricey i paid 100 for mine kinda harder to find i have found.they are great fish.I think my next 125 will have the foxface lo.but i agree with the venomous species my silver scat lion and foxface are all venomous they get along great and because the foxface is accually an herbavore he controls alge outbrakes easy to feed and has a nice personality.just dont let the baby go swimming lol and youll be good to go.my cat jumped into my tank one day by mistake i was cleaning the hood which she loves to lay on.oopsie the lid was gone .anyone for cat fish ? lol

Unleashed, I have never told her no on any other fish. I just tell her what might happen to her other fish and let her make the decission. The moorish how ever is VERY difficult to keep, i AM NOT EXPERIENCED ENOUGH YET AND DON'T WISH TO WASTE THE MONEY.
