I have always liked them, i know they are not true eels but thats part of the reason i like them. Because of their great vision unlike othere or most eels. My questions is their compatiblility and aggression. Are they agressive towards other fish or just fish that they can fit into their mouths. Do they have teeth and how big do they actually get. im thinking about getting maybe a 7-8inch long one. He would be going into a 125g with a 6inch dragon wrasse, 6inch stellatus puffer, and a small 3inch trigger and sailfin tang

Well a Guy near me has one. It's big - couple of feet at least and is in a 180g with a handful of other fish -- angels tangs damsels.
He feeds it krill n fish on a feeder stick.
Biggest worry for you might be filtration. Bug predator = big wastes
