Green zoos under halides

I put my green zoos at the top of my tank under my halides and they look beautiful and are wide open. I have not seen any loss of color or anything but them getting bigger, but I read that you can burn them or harm them if you have them too high up with too much lighting. What should I be looking for?

you would see them close up and sorta melt away. Also long as they are extending and looking good, then you are fine. How long have they been under the lights.
For future reference, you would want to acclimate them to intense light by moving them gradually or slowly increasing the time that the lights are on.

thanks kraze. I did acclimate them and slowly moved them up, but still did not know if it was ok to have them that high to halides. Well they are open and look great, so maybe the worst thing that will happen is they will grow like crazy and I will have to frag them every month... darn!

all of my zoas (which is ALOT) are under 3x400 halides & 3x160VHO. never any problem at all.
