i have this brown stuff growing on my rocks my tank is only 4 days old. what is this stuff?

Most likely it is diatoms. It will go away with your cycle - don't panic!

the diatoms are gonna take over. quick, throw away the rocks!!!! j/k hahahaha you'll be okay. You will learn to love brown algae in t he near future. As well as its buddy, Mr. Red Slime ALgae.

i knew the red was good but the brown? its ugly lol will it not go away i liked the way the rocks looked before.

Red isn't always good. There is a huge difference between coraline and cyano. Search around the forums for information on the both.
