Grounding Probe treats HLLE--Opinions

Boy am I busy lately working on the HLLE problem with my tangs.
Now I know there's a lot of discussion about stray voltage being a contributing factor with HLLE.
Opinons?
I think I'm going to add a grounding probe for stray voltage for my anti-HLLE attack. Any electricians or electerical gurus out there care to explain the concept here as well as the best type of probe to look for?

I have always used a grounding probe but still had fish develope hlle. The idea is that stray current plays havoc on their lateral line and sesory nerves in the face which are receptive to electrical currents. The line is constantly bombarded and begins to errode. While it may be a factor I believe it is from the lack of proper nutrition namely greens. My tang and angel showed drastic improvement when I began to feed them seaweed selects and osi spirulina flakes soaked in zoe everyday.

Yes, I am doing a major diet change with the addition of Zoecon at this time, but wanted info on the probe too, and see if anyone uses it and which would be the best to get. I may post in the equipt forum, since this forum isn't very active.
Thanks jimi.

It is real easy to check for stray voltage. Borrow a voltmeter and set it for 110-115 volts. Then put one probe in the water, the other probe into the ground hole in the wall socket.(if your house is wired properly you will not die here) If any voltage is shown on the meter you have a problem.

I had a major voltage problem.
My light had a short in it, and when it was on, I would put my hand in the tank, and get zapped real bad...
Anyway, my tang had very bad HLLE.
I replaced the light, and started giving him zoe and zoecon mixed food.
Within a month, the guy looked a 100 times better. In fact, you can barely tell he had it!
I can't say whether the HLLE was caused by bad nutrition or by the short.
I bet they both play a part in it :)

Salty, its a good thing for you that I'm not a feminist, otherwise, you'd be clobbered.
