Grounding probes

I noticed that if I have my hand in the tank, and brush against the reflector for my lights, I get a mild tingle on my arm <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
I bought a grounding probe today, will it be as effective if I mount it in the sump?
It's all the same body of water right?

Yeah, I think most people put it in the sump.

You should inspect your reflector as that is not normal IMO. There should be no way for voltage to be present. The other option is that it is grounded and it is actually voltage in the tank which is then getting a good ground.
At the very least run an earth ground (green wire)to the reflector if there isn't one allready.
A GFCI is also a good idea because if there is a short it will pop before you smoke something and the main breaker blows (maybe).
