grouper question

I bought an Argus grouper yesterday, its a really cool fish with a blueish body, yellow tail and spots all over him. My question is if anyone has had experiecne with them and if they know how big they get. If you have any other advice with them I'll take that too. :happyfish :happyfish:

That fish is going to get way too big for your tank. It gets to almost 17 inches and need a tank of about 150 at least, if not much more. My advice to you is to take it back and not buy another fish until you have the information on it first. Sorry to preach at you but it is unwise to buy an animal before knowing its needs.

well i knew most but i could not get a definitive length but a tank upgrade is probally in plans for the future, also right now he is a baby.
